Cosmoss is a wellness brand founded by Kate Moss, that offers wellbeing for soul and senses with range of beauty products including creams, cleansers, serums and mood enhancing scents. We were appointed to create the visual world for the brand.

Design

Soulful, sensual, self-aware. COSMOSS draws on the extraordinary life experience of Kate Moss – someone whose career and image touched on and influenced so many others and yet has taken her own, rich journey of transformation gradually and privately.

 

 

COSMOSS by Kate Moss offers skincare and wellness products for balance and rejuvenation: face cream and cleanser, skin oil, herbal teas and perfume mist.

  • Arizona Serif is a high contrast, pointy serif with
    a modern-meets-Renaissance freshness,
    and on the other side of the spectrum.

Summary

For COSMOSS, we developed a comprehensive visual identity that includes a Brand ID, logo with dedicated typography, and a brand mark. We deliberately moved away from the current trend of minimalism in the cosmetics world, opting instead for a more symbolic and decorative style. This allowed us to fully embrace the brand’s rich narrative and reflect the unique aesthetics of COSMOSS founder, the iconic Kate Moss.

 

The logo—a sun flanked by two moons—draws from the ritualistic context of the COSMOSS story and takes inspiration from vintage astral engravings.

 

We created a complete visual universe for the brand, encompassing colour palettes, graphic elements, and textures, as well as a photo library inspired by the work of Karl Blossfeldt. We designed both primary and secondary packaging for all products, including cosmetics and teas.

For COSMOSS, we also designed a unique e-commerce website, stepping away from the traditional e-commerce approach in favour of a reputational sales platform that emphasises the brand’s narrative and luxurious essence.

 

Our responsibilities also included the preparation of all marketing materials (e-commerce boxes, special shipments, leaflets, bags, etc.). Our ongoing work involves support for social media (graphics, reels, animation elements) and the production of all printed materials.
