The COSMOSS identity had to be unique. We deliberately stepped away from the prevalent minimalism in the beauty brand world into a more emblematic and decorative context, to tap into brand’s rich storytelling and express the distinct aesthetic of COSMOSS founder, the iconic Kate Moss.
The brand mark, a symbol of sun surrounded by two moons, was derived from the ritual context of COSMOSS narrative and inspired by the vintage etchings of cosmic symbolism. The logo was developed using custom typography. The central part of the COSMOSS collaboration was the packaging design and brand colour selection.
